    Is there a better option than the Roku Player?

    I'm torn between getting an Roku streaming player and Apple TV. Is there really a huge difference between the two?

    If you're already living in the Apple closed ecosystem, the Apple TV is a good choice.

    Otherwise, Roku.

    Yeah, about the only thing I can think of for an advantage with the Apple TV is that you can wirelessly play media from all other Apple devices in your house.

    Roku means more content from other providers.

    Apple TV means slightly less content but the ability to play iTunes content and use AirPlay.

    AirPlay is going to be in OSX when Mountain Lion is released.
