DVR to Roku, is it possible?

Can you hook up a Roku box to a DVR and record from it? I know the idea sounds weird, but I'd like to be able to record stuff so I can watch offline.

You can connect a Roku to a VCR, DVD burner, or computer to record video. Most DVRs, however, do not have a "line in", be it HDMI, VGA, coax, or component, so no, you can't record to most DVRs.

Thank you for your help. What DVR's do have a input? I tried searching and couldn't find any. Have you tried PlayLater yet? I assume it's for a PC right, I can't download it to my Roku.
